Our Story

Hup Siong Coating Sdn. Bhd. stretches back to August 1998 at Taman Merdeka, Melaka with 40” x 80”sqft shop lot with humble beginning less than 10 workers. The company eventually had witness a steady growth in the business due to the company’s belief that in order to succeed in any business venture, one must always pay close attention and to understand the needs and objectives of the customers so that the customers’ needs could be fulfilled and their objectives realized. This will ensure that both parties can prosper together.

The strong beliefs give the company an opportunity to open 2nd branch in June 1999 at Tangkak with 10,000 sqft factory lots. With our customer oriented business philosophy, the sales and customers base gradually increased over the years.

In March 2000, we shifted our production line from Taman Merdeka to a new factory about 10,000 sqft in Malim Jaya with the capacity being increased 100%. The fast growth of architecture and building market powder coats aluminium extrusions give Hup Siong an opportunity to set up base oven next to Malim Jaya factory in August 2000. HUp Siong Powder Coatings consistently brings innovative technology and service to the powder coating market. The breadth of its product lines is the quality of its people and an unparalleled ability to serve customers.

Hup Siong has resulted in the steady growth of the company as well as their customers, has been able to setup 3rd branch at Rawang to serve the Selangor area in May 2001 and will further expand in the near future. In 2 years time, Rawang branch able to setup base oven line opposites the current factory to service architecture and building powder coat market.

Hup Siong will improve on the quality of their services and products in order to complete internationally. Hup Siong has taken the challenge by applying for the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 and architectural coating from JOTUN POWDER COATINGS (M) SDN BHD & OXYHIN SDN BHD and comprehensive program on training and skill development, which it has obtain from its many years of experience in the business.
